New Teacher Academy 2024-25
|
In New Teacher Academy, participants will study and create teaching essentials to "hit the ground running" as they start their school year. Throughout the year they will meet and network with other participants in order to develop and refine their craft. Consultants from JCISD's Learning Services, Special Education, and Ed Tech departments will teach and guide them throughout the year.

Teachers that are in their first 3 years in education

|
Setting classroom expectations, setting classroom routines, building relationships with students, creating the foundation of a classroom community, maximizing physical classroom environment, learning to engage students, incorporating educational technology, creating a network of teachers across Jackson County, refining instruction.
