2024-25 Threat Assessment FULL Training Winter

In this 3 hour training, participants will actively learn to implement the full Threat Assessment System including the screener, full threat assessment, interviews, RMS plan and more. Each part of the system will be explored, explained and practices while also learning about the big picture and process as a whole. Shared experiences of the threat assessment carried out will help to solidify the relevance and criticality of the Threat Assessment System. PLUS, the last hour will be two breakout session - one for elementary educators and another for secondary educators.

Learner Outcomes
|
1.Understand the full process and procedures in the Jackson County Threat Assessment System.
2.Understand each component of the Jackson County Threat Assessment System.
3.Practice completing and be able to implement each component of the Jackson County Threat Assessment System.
4.Develop a plan to clearly communicate the learning from the training with other stakeholders in the school/district.
