    Beyond Calculating: Building Connections with Desmos
    Learn how to use the DESMOS graphing calculator family of tools to explore ways that students can strengthen their own analytical skills. This workshop is for middle and high school math teachers that want to make the best use out of these tools to enhance their instruction and student learning. We will explore practical and effective ways to help students form conjectures, test ideas, expore relationships across multiple representations, and reinforce their mathematical understandings.
    Target Audience
    MS & HS Math Teachers
    Learner Outcomes
    Participants will learn the fundamental and key advanced features of the DESMOS graphing calculator in order to strengthen their students analytical skills. Participants will learn how to create explorations in Activity Builder, as well as simulations to demonstrate mathematical connections.
