EHS/HS Reflective Supervision (2024-2025) (Ongoing)
|
EHS/Head Start staff will receive training around signs and symptoms and the impacts of early childhood trauma on young children and their families. Staff will be provided with evidence-based strategies for working with children and families who are experiencing/ have experienced trauma, and strategies to protect staff from secondary trauma and burnout. In addition, staff will be provided follow up reflective supervision from a certified reflective supervisor to discuss each topic discussed and how that topic impacts their classroom environment.

Important Information
This session will be ongoing from 01.01.2025 - 06.01.2025.
Staff are offered up to 6 hours of Reflective Supervision between January-June. A certified, third party contracted, Reflective Supervisor will lead Reflective Supervision sessions. EHS Assistant Director holds the responsibility to track Reflective Supervision time. Individual staff RS time is recorded in Wisdomwhere 2x annually (December and July).
