    Explicit Instruction: Increasing Active Participation and Student Responding

    Are you a general or special education teacher looking to dive deeper into active participation and increasing student responding in the classroom? This session is intended to 1) validate the evidence-based practices educators are currently using, and 2) emphasize the use of explicit instruction and active participation routines to increase student response, skills, and success in reading.

    Administrators, ISD staff, Coaches, Teachers, Building staff

    By the end of the session, participants will:

    1. Increase explicit instruction and active participation use

    2. Engage in collaboration with colleagues, practice routines

    3. Refine implementation using resources and checklists 4. Develop a goal and action plan
