The regional health & physical education curriculum resource team (CRT) provides morning professional learning and afternoon committee work around health and physical education topics. Educators will receive national/state updates, engage with resources for their subject area, and share successes and challenges at a regional capacity. Educators will identify areas of need in health education by examining student wellness data. The PE/Health curriculum resource team is committed to improving student achievement, providing leadership, professional development, and research-based information aligned to the Michigan Curriculum Frameworks for teachers.
Please note: This year's sessions are in-person only. Participants who travel 20+ miles round-trip are eligible for a travel stipend.
Session Dates:
- Wednesday, September 25, 2024
- Tuesday, November 19, 2024
- Wednesday, January 29, 2025* (Weather dependent for outdoor PE session, may be rescheduled)
Lunch will be provided for those who register at least 24 hours in advance.
Up to fifteen (15) SCECHs will be available for those who register.
