    Course Overview

    The American Dynamics Advanced Installer course AD4026 is a full Level 2 course designed to build on the Level 1 Basic Installer courses and take participants to the next level with the VideoEdge Network Video Recorder (NVR) and Victor application.

    This course aims to complete users understanding of the knowledge required to successfully install and configure scaled systems using VideoEdge NVR and Victor Unified Video Management System (VMS).

    Course Objectives

    1. To provide a complete understanding of the topology and configuration of a VideoEdge and Victor deployment.

    2. To provide participants with the ability to install such systems.

    3. To enable participants to configure and run video surveillance infrastructure.

    4. Introduce advanced concepts which allow the system to be maintained and enhanced, for example, with a full range of alerts.

    Field Installation and Service Engineers

    Certification
    VideoEdge and Victor Level 2

    Pre-Requisites
     An understanding of Windows Operating Systems and their file
    structures commensurate with accreditation standards
     An understanding of Linux Operating Systems, their file structures and shell
    commands
     An understanding of Windows Networking using TCP/IP, their terminology, parameters
    and connection implications
     An understanding of basic CCTV and Video concepts
     A background in low voltage electronic devices
     A+, N+ or similar certifications are highly recommended

    Assessment Plan
     The passing score for this course is 80%
     Participants will be assessed through a final exam

      

    Documentation:

    Certification for Dealers is obtained at the end of the second day upon successful completion of all tests and Labs.

    End-User will receive a certificate of completion.

    Training material will be provided during the sessions.

    Cancellations with less than three days’ notice will be assessed a 100% tuition penalty fee per student for factory and regional training and a 100% tuition penalty for on-site and custom courses.

Course Description

The American Dynamics Advanced Installer course aims to equip participants with the opportunity to build on the Basic Installer courses and take their knowledge and skills to the next level with the VideoEdge Network Video Recorder (NVR) and victor application.

This course aims to complete users understanding of the knowledge required to successfully install and configure scaled systems using VideoEdge NVR and victor Unified Video Management System (VMS).

Participants will develop these skills through a series of interactive tasks consisting of notes, tutorial videos, software simulations and a Virtual Lab session.
