If you participated in Math Academy during the 23/24 school year, join us to continue learning and networking together. We'll continue to explore what is essential for best practice mathematics learning and teaching. Our focus will be on the Essential Instructional Practices in Early Mathematics and building thinking classrooms. We'll participate in learning labs and explore more resources that are ready to use, low prep, and will coordinate well with any curriculum currently in use in order to raise the level of teaching and learning in your classroom.

Learner Outcomes

Participants will obtain an understanding of the Standards for Student Mathematical Practice, Essential Instructional Practices in Early Mathematics, and Principles to Actions. Participants will learn how to apply each of these resources in their classroom to facilitate high level learning. Participants will walk away with tools they can immediately apply in their classrooms that support best practice teaching and learning.
