Jackson County Middle School Science Leadership Series
|
The science leadership series is a collaborative learning network for Jackson County science teachers. The purpose of this collaborative series is to support best practices in science education, to stay informed on regional/state level funding and other resource opportunities, to keep current with curricular advancements, and to discover new instructional methods and activities to increase student success in the sciences. Our meetings will typically consist of morning professional learning followed by networking and collaborative work time in the afternoon. Our first area of inquiry will be "How can we increase student motivation and engagement in science?" Future areas of inquiry will be decided by participant voice.
