Jackson County High School Math Leadership Series
|
The mathematics leadership series is a collaborative learning network for Jackson County math teachers. The purpose of this collaborative series is to support best practices in mathematics education, to stay informed on regional/state level funding and other resource opportunities, to keep current with curricular advancements, and to discover new instructional methods and activities to increase student success in mathematics. Our meetings will typically consist of morning professional learning followed by networking and collaborative work time in the afternoon. Our first areas of inquiry will be around the "State of Mathematics in Jackson County"as well as how we can increase student motivation and engagement in mathematics. Future areas of inquiry will be decided by participant voice.
