Event Details

Creating a Whole Child Classroom
This is a five day learning opportunity that will cover 5 domains: relationship and family culture, regulation, language of trauma, safety, discipline and empowerment. This course will help create a trauma informed classroom that will provide evidence based strategies that will help foster growth in all students. Also, it is a great opportunity for new educators to network with each other so that they will feel continued support throughout their career.

New K through 5 teachers
Learner Outcomes
Learn how to create a climate of safety, Develop an understanding of the use of trauma-responsive language, Learn trauma-informed discipline and empowerment strategies, Develop systems and strategies that promote self-regulation, Gain a greater understanding of how to foster relationships and build family culture
