Special education teachers and speech & language pathologists will learn instructional strategies to support phonological awareness. Heggerty classroom curriculum provides large or small group instructional strategies for developing early reading skills. Heggerty intervention provides targeted instructional strategies for students in grades 2+ who have lagging phonological skills. Half day, virtual. SCECHs available.
Session is open to general education teachers, however sub reimbursement and instructional materials are not provided for GE participants. Cost for instructional materials is $89 per grade level.
