A Certified
Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides daily living assistance to patients. CNA's
typically work in nursing homes, hospitals, and other long-term care facilities
and may also assist doctors and nurses with medical procedures. The Certified Nursing
Assistant course includes classroom work, skills labs, and clinical experience
within 15 miles of M-TEC.
Upon course
completion, students are eligible to take the Michigan Nurse Aide Competency
Exam
A $100 deposit
is required to register. The remainder will be collected upon completion of
registration and is due a minimum of four weeks before class begins. The
payment will be due in full for any registration within four weeks of the start
date.

$175 - State Exam (payable to Headmaster)
$40 - State License Registration (LARA - renews biannually)
Requirements: At least 17 years of age and students with
misdemeanors or felonies will need to complete a preliminary background check.
