Initial Certification: Training for initial certification is a full day (typically 9-3)
o This session is designed for staff seeking initial certification in Therapeutic Options Safety Management Program. Initial certification is typically for staff who have never been trained previously in Therapeutic Options or whom have not maintained their certification in accordance to the annual recertification requirements.
o This is a full day session from 9-3 provided by trainer(s) who have been certified by the Therapeutic Options program.
o Staff will receive a certification upon successful completion of the course
o Staff must attend the training in its’ entirety and failure to do so may impact the successful certification.
o Staff must be recertified annually within 365 days of the previous certification.
o Note: Staff coming due for annual recertification may opt to attend the Initial certification session to satisfy their recertification, but are only required to attend a recertification session.
