    Programmable Logic Controllers for Program Design

    This course is designed to provide the skills necessary to navigate through Allen-Bradley’s RS Linx, Studio 5000 GuardLogix and LogixDesigner Software. This course is designed to give the learner with limited or basic PLC understanding, the necessary skills to go online with the PLC to search, cross reference, toggle, force, branch, upload, download, and make backup copies of the logic. The learner will also be able to perform basic ladder logic programming. Hirschmann switch basics will be covered, as well as ethernet communications to safety nodes and remote racks. Ethernet basics to include command prompt pinging, unlimited pinging, and troubleshooting switches, cables, and nodes will be practiced.


    Please note:  Registration will close two weeks before the start of class.
