    ELA Teachers Network 2024-25

ARIN IU28 is providing ELA Teachers Network sessions for ELA teachers in grades 3-8, or those that teach a Keystone trigger class. These sessions are designed to allow some learning to take place from the facilitator, but more learning will take place from peers and colleagues. Along with this new learning and collaboration, participants will have time to work independently, as well as with others, to create activities they can implement and utilize in their classroom. Although each day will vary on specific strategies shared and collaboration topics, there will be a consistent approach to these networking meetings. We will also dive into data, hear what districts are doing if they are achieving higher scores, and taking time to learn from each other on strategies and best practices in their classrooms.

We will meet on the following dates at the ARIN Central Office from 8:30AM - 3PM:

    • October 10, 2024
    • December 17, 2024
    • February 13, 2025
    • April 7, 2025

There is no cost to attend for participants from IU28 districts and five Act 48 hours will be awarded at the completion of each session. Lunch is on your own.
