Join us for the Ripple Effect Convening at Lycoming College on June 17, 2025, a gathering designed to connect educators, environmental professionals, and community partners in advancing STEELS-based learning. The day will begin with a central gathering and break out sessions. Participants will then rotate through three immersive field experiences at Rider Park, Waterdale, and the Robert Porter Allan Natural Area—each offering a unique ecosystem and hands-on activities that showcase real-world problem-solving through science and environmental education.
These locations, supported by key partners such as the Lycoming County Conservation District, the Audubon Society, and PA Master Naturalists, will provide insight into habitat conservation, water systems, and ecological restoration. The day will conclude with a return to the main conference space for a debriefing session, tying together the lessons learned, strengthening networks, and exploring collaborative opportunities to expand environmental literacy in Pennsylvania.
