Adaptive Skills for Preschoolers

This training will provide an overview of adaptive skills for the preschool population and its application to preschool early intervention. Participants will develop an understanding of what adaptive skills are, typical developmental expectations for adaptive skills for the preschool population, how this applies to special education law and the preschool EI practice model in PA, , as well as have resources and examples for application of content to individualized IEP development and evidence-based intervention.

Any and All internal/external leadership, providers, and staff

Learner Outcomes

Following this training, participants will be able to define adaptive skills for preschoolers, an understanding of typical developmental expectations for adaptive skills for the preschool population, how this applies to special education law and the preschool EI practice model in PA, , as well as have resources and examples for application of content to individualized IEP development and evidence-based intervention.
