CCS District Media Specialist PLC Meetings
The purpose of the monthly Professional Learning Community (PLC) meetings for school library media specialists is to provide a collaborative environment where professionals can share best practices, discuss challenges, and develop strategies to enhance the effectiveness of library services. These meetings focus on aligning library initiatives with educational goals, supporting student learning and literacy, and integrating technology into the curriculum. The PLC also serves as a platform for ongoing professional development, allowing media specialists to stay informed about new trends, resources, and standards in the field.
Syllabus
Improved Instructional Collaboration: Media specialists will develop strategies to collaborate more effectively with teachers to integrate library resources and technology into the curriculum.
