Playful Learning Approaches for PreK-12 Classrooms

9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Location: This professional development session will take place in the new Creative Learning Center of the Grand Rapids Art Museum. Participants should arrive through the Creative Learning Center entrance located on the Louis Street side of our building.

Audience: Art Educators

Instructor: Emily Jarvi

Experiment with the art of play to activate creative and critical thinking and learning for all ages. Explore techniques to form deeper connections and engage with works of art in new ways using the Grand Rapids Art Museum’s collections and exhibitions as inspiration. Engage in a variety of interactive activities, guided prompts, and artmaking projects to unlock creative strategies to invigorate your teaching practice.

Sub reimbursement is available for Ottawa Area ISD districts
